Theme: Why does everyone love Sherry finished whisky?

After a trip to Scotland this year Mark Izzard, WWs' founder, noticed that the majority of Scottish distilleries use sherry casks for the whisky aging and finishing. Today we are going to look at why sherry finishes are so widely used, why they are so loved, and how they vary from cask to cask, and region to region.

Whisky club kicks off at 6.30 pm for a 7 pm start. Explore a range of whisky from Waiheke and around the world.
