Does The Heke offer anything special for birthdays?
Every birthday deserves to be recognised, so if you let us know, the team will give our exclusive birthday card from us to the guest of honour! The whole family from grandparents to the smallest guests will have a great time at The Heke. We do have desserts and the team will pop a candle into one if you ask on the day. Do you have Group Menu options?
Yes! Please see our flexible and great value group function options here. A great benefit of a set menu is that your guests can relax with a drink as soon as they arrive, and everyone can enjoy the day without the hassle of individual ordering. It really makes a lunch into a ‘long lunch’. In addition, groups on set menus are guaranteed a table seating of three hours on request. Group menus are available for groups of 4+ and are required for large groups.
Can I bring a cake to The Heke?
Yes you are welcome to bring your own cake. Order in advance and either pick up or arrange delivery here on the day with your supplier. We can only store cakes on the same day as your visit.
We do not charge a ‘cakeage’ fee at The Heke. Some recommended options for local cake suppliers include:

Does The Heke offer Private Spaces?
