What is open on Waiheke Island this winter?
When you head to Waiheke Island this winter, there is so much to do see and experience. But when you get on the ferry, you might be forgiven for not knowing where you can go to eat, taste, drink & explore.
So here we go, we have an updated schedule from some places on the Island to make things simple!
First up - The Heke!
Walk in every day 7 days a week. No bookings need but if you have 6+ people we recommend you book for Saturdays.
We offer food and drinks every day this winter. On Monday to Thursday, from 11.30 - 4 pm, enjoy our hand-stretched fire cooked pizzas, burgers, fried chicken. soup of the day, and an extensive snack and antipasto menu, served in our gorgeous cosy Barrel Hall.
From Friday to Sunday, our delicious 5* main menu is available from 12 - 8 pm (7 pm Sunday) in the main restaurant with our warm heaters and glowing wood fire; and big welcoming smiles!
The Tasting Room is open every day from 11.30 - 4 pm for Guided Flights, and you can join our Grain to Glass Distillery Tour every day from 11.15 am.Book here.

WESTERN END
Mudbrick Cellar Door open 7 days. Mudbrick Restaurant is closed until August. Their Archive Bistro is open 7 days 11 am til late
Cable Bay TBC
ONEROA VILLAGE
Vino Vino in Oneroa Village - every day from 8.45 am until 8 pm, except Sundays when there is no dinner service.
Oyster Inn - open Friday though to Monday from 12 noon, Thurs 5-8 pm, closed Tues Weds.
Fenice - every day 8.30 am - 8.30-ish pm
The Local - open 7 days for lunch, Wed-Sat for dinner. Closing for a break 9th Aug until early September.
Apertivo is closed until 1 October
SURFDALE
Waiheke Bowling Club bar & restaurant open Weds - Mon from 2.30 pm
Cafe Bisou is closed until 22 July, then open Wednesday - Sunday 7.30 am - 2 pm

Casita Miro is open for lunch Fri, Sat. Sun. Mon & Tues
Charlie Farleys every day 8 am - 10 pm

Batch Winery is open 11-4 pm every day
